The Academy welcomes students from various countries. The International Office co-ordinates the Academy’s overseas activities, including international marketing recruitment, admissions, study abroad programme and international collaboration.

The Academy aims to develop specialised support services to foster the integration of international students into the local student community. These are coordinated by both Student Services and the International Office.

International students wishing to obtain Entry Clearance before coming to Britain should follow the guidelines given below:

  • Visit the British Embassy/High Commission in person and take the following documents with you:
    • Acceptance Letter (unconditional) from the Academy which states that tuition fees have been received by the Academy and a place has been reserved on the required course.
    • Original certificates / diplomas / degree
    • Two sets of photocopies of academic certificates and acceptance letter
    • Six recent passport size recent photographs (coloured with white background)
    • Passport and two sets of photocopies ( including old passports if any)
    • National I.D. Card and two photocopies
    • Itemised bank statement of your bank account (if you are sponsoring yourself)
    • Itemised bank statement of your father’s bank account (or anyone else who is sponsoring you)
    • Note: Bank statements should cover the past 12 month transactions. A bank certificate is not acceptable. All cheque and deposit books are also required
    • Evidence of income from business, employment, land or other (your/ father’s, whichever is applicable)
    • Details of family monthly income
    • Tax documents, including copies of property assessment forms, income tax etc of the last 3 years
    • Independent evidence of sponsor’s ability to pay for the visit and to provide support and accommodation during your stay in the UK. An overseas sponsor must provide documents showing the availability of funds in Pound Sterling to cover the cost of living in the UK
    • Father’s ID card/ Passport (if any)
    • Affidavit of Support from your father/ guardian/ sponsor
    • Documentation to demonstrate that you have the intention to leave the UK after completion of studies
